Teletherapy Services

Dr. Williams prefers to provide face-to-face therapeutic consultation but understands that some people are reluctant to leave their homes for a variety of reasons. Therefore, Dr. Williams is available to provide therapy online to individuals throughout the state of California only (no exceptions).

Teletherapy services – also referred to as online therapy will be held through VSee, a free online service that allows users to make free online phone and video calls. VSee also provides the ability to send and receive electronic documents quickly and securely. Simply, download the VSee service to your computer through the easy registration process. Once connected, your session will proceed in the same manner as a face-to-face office visit (please be reminded that 15-minute consultations are free, and fees for therapy sessions must be made at the start of the session).

It is important to remember that while we work to protect your confidentiality as much as possible, VSee cannot guarantee complete confidentiality. It is advised for you to always make sure you are in a  private area where your conversation cannot be overheard. *Note: Counseling and/or Therapeuetic Services for residents of California only – no exceptions.

Please be advised that Dr. Williams will not accept online consultation or teletherapy for individuals who report the following (as these concerns are best served in a face-to-face capacity):

  • Suicidal Ideation
